Polonian Cultural Day
Join us for our Polish Cultural Day!
Take part in activities including:
- Learning about the history of Polonia from our projection while listening to traditional Polish music.
- Community wall painting open to all members of the public.
- Creative artist-led workshop showing you how to create traditional, handmade jewellery such as necklaces, paintings and armbands.
- Face painting.
- Young entrepreneurs.
- Children singing traditional Polish songs.
- Grow Your Seed Workshop to introduce children to responsible home plant growing.
There will also be plenty of traditional Polish cuisine available, as well as fresh homemade lemonade!
Love Yeovil is working with Community Council for Somerset to support the ethnically diverse communities of Yeovil share their heritage and culture with the people of Yeovil in the run up to the 2022 Yeovil Together event being held later this year.
