Lantern Parade
Return of the popular family friendly event taking place in Yeovil Country Park (Nine Springs). Meet at the area outside Ninesprings cafe. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a walk around Ninesprings in February, led by live music.
To make sure you are Lantern Parade ready you can design and create your own lantern by either taking part in one of the FREE workshops or picking up a leaflet or one of the limited number of lantern making packs. More details below.
Alongside the Window Wanderland event run by Yeovil Art Space, together, we brighten up our town in one of the darkest months of the year!
FREE pop in lantern workshops at Yeovil Art Space on Saturday 11th 10am until 2pm and Monday 13th 10am til 12 noon so you can make your lantern to take part in the parade.
- Lantern Packs (limited numbers) available at Yeovil Art Space, Nine Springs and Yeovil Library. Packs to also be shared with some local primary schools and community groups.
