Bonkers About Bugs at Ham Hill

Go Back

Are you ready to discover the teeniest, tiniest creatures which crawl, fly and hop around the meadows of Ham Hill?

Can you find the 170-million-year-old invertebrate fossils jutting out of the standing stones?

Would you like to build yourself a mini-beast seed bomb, to turn your garden at home into a mini nature reserve?

Join us on Monday the 31st of July, on the Northern Spur part of Ham Hill (near the stone circle), when we will be using sweep nets to find the bugs hiding in the long grass, looking for Jurassic fossils in the Hamstone, and using clay, mud and sticks to create seed bombs to take home.

No need to book - just turn up!

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
