Award winning writers play comes to Yeovil

From the creators of A Monk's Tale and The God Particle, A Turbulent Priest is the epic story of Thomas Becket with jokes and songs. Written by James Cary, an award winning sitcom writer for the BBC TV and Radio. James has worked on series such as Miranda, Bluestone 42 and Milton Jones and numerous shows for CBBC and CBeebies.
A Turbulent Priest is now touring the country and is coming to Yeovil for two very special performances in St John's Church in the town's center, on Friday 27th September and Saturday 28th September.
850 years ago Thomas Becket was famously murdered by four knights in Canterbury Cathedral. A Turbulent Priest follows the extraordinary story of Thomas and Kind Henry II, their bromance, bust up and betrayals.
There will also be 2 performances of snippets taken from the show at Yeovil Town Council's Super Saturday Event on 28th September at 11am and 2pm, so if you are on the fence about buying a ticket make sure you visit St John's on Super Saturday
