Freedom Leisure set to start operations in South Somerset on April 1st

On April 1st Freedom Leisure will take over the management of the leisure facilities in Yeovil, Wincanton and Chard on behalf of South Somerset District Council. Freedom Leisure is a not-for-profit leisure trust which manages leisure and cultural facilities on behalf of partners across the UK.
Freedom Leisure takes on the management of facilities at Goldenstones Leisure Centre and Westlands Sports and Fitness Centre in Yeovil, as well as Wincanton Sports Centre. Freedom Leisure will also be operating the superb new facilities currently being built in Chard as part of the Chard Regeneration programme.
In partnership with South Somerset District Council, Freedom Leisure have some exciting plans for the centres with over £3.5M to be invested to make changes and improvements to services and facilities.
In line with the current Government roadmap, all three centres in Yeovil and Wincanton will open on April 12th. We look forward to welcoming current and new customers to the centres and there are some great membership options available.
