Two new stores to open at the Quedam Shopping Centre.
Released On 20th Jan 2020
The Quedam Centre have today announced that two new stores will be opening at the shopping Centre before the Spring season commences.
After outlining a 100% retention rate of current retailers throughout 2019 and confirming that Julian Charles will remain open, the Quedam Centre in Yeovil will be welcoming two new stores to their current lineup.
Filling the former Saltrock unit with NM Money, a part of Eurochange, and sealing the deal on the recent pop-up shop Buddy and the Bear, the Centre will now house 40 stores. James Tovey, Centre Manager at the Quedam Centre, commented “Despite the challenging market facing the High Street, we’re feeling confident about 2020 and what better way to start the year than with two new store openings. Bringing another national brand, as well as an independent business that you can`t experience anywhere else, fits perfectly with what we’re striving to achieve”.
Buddy and the Bear, who currently run their business online, will be occupying unit 21 Vicarage Walk, selling handmade, personalised baby and children’s clothing. After the success of two pop-up shops within the Centre, owner Gemma Norman explained why she’s opting to move into the Centre. “We had an amazing response to the two pop up shops in 2019 and great support from the Quedam management team. This feels like the natural progression. I`m looking forward to offering customers a unique shopping experience they can`t get elsewhere”.
Also joining the lineup is NM Money who are part of a large financial group which provides products and services such as currency exchange, insurances and mortgages. NM Money will also house a hole-in-the-wall which will be of great convenience to shoppers.
Both stores are set to open during the month of February and continue to support the Quedam’s strategy of attracting, retaining and supporting retailers.
