Yeovil Super Saturday 2022
Released On 19th Aug 2022
Press Release from Yeovil Town Council
An exciting day of food, music and entertainment in Yeovil Town Centre: Yeovil Super Saturday 17th September 2022!
There will be glorious and delicious food by local producers and artisans as eat:festivals brings the very best West Country food and drink to Yeovil. Choose your favourite and settle down to watch a traditional Punch and Judy show by Professor Gary Wilson and don't miss the wonderful and awe-inspiring performances by Pirate Taxi of Pirates of the Carabina in the Quedam.
Music throughout the town centre will be provided by Abbey 104 in the Quedam and at Buskstops in Middle Street and St John's Church yard, as talented musicians from near and far busk for their chosen charity. The Eastville Project Space will also have a day of live music and DJs.
Amongst other attractions, enjoy the creepiness and the crawliness of mini beasts who visit for the day with Bugfest, let off steam on the bouncy castle or ask Lucy Lost-it! to create a beautiful balloon model just for you. Look out for the stilt walker who will help you find your way around the events and point you in the direction of the circus skills workshop to have a go at balancing, juggling, spinning and twirling.
If you are a performer at heart, why not have a go at being a Town Crier?! Look out for further information on our Facebook page.
A huge thank you from Yeovil Town Council to all those volunteering on the day and for making Super Saturday a fantastic community event for all.
